Josh Chen
Director




Josh is a business director at SJC Realty. He brings more than 15 years of experience in business development and product management. Previously, he was the president for Alameda Financial, which focuses on acquisitions and management of distressed properties and mortgages. He purchased and sold over 100 discounted mortgages and also invested in many rental properties.

Prior to Alameda Financial, he spent 3 years in Wind River Systems (NASDAQ: WIND) and was responsible for the Consumer Industry strategic planning. Prior to Wind River, he was director of Business development in Terawave Communications where he led the product development team and also set up partner and distribution channels in Asia. Prior to Terawave, he worked for NEC America and Nortel and was instrumental to consummate many multimillion-dollar deals with major customers.

In addition to his acquisition and operation experience, he successfully raises funds for various real estate projects during the past several years as a managing director in TNH Group. With his passion to encourage can-do entrepreneurs, he also mentors real estate investors from Tandem Investment Group so they can smoothly start their own active investments or scale their business.

For non-profit activities, he currently supports worthy strategic causes and is actively working with non-profit organizations to fulfill their visions. He also actively participate church activities.

Josh holds a M.Sc. from University of Waterloo, Canada.
